Invest In The Children Of Autauga

A donation to CASA of Autauga County is an investment in our state’s future. Your gift to CASA of Autauga County can help CASA programs in your community and around the state provide the very best volunteer advocacy for children removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect. Because CASA of Autauga County is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, your donation is tax-deductible.

Currently, it costs $1,200 to provide a CASA volunteer
to a child in Autauga County.

That covers recruiting, screening, training and supervising volunteers who will offer the highest level of advocacy. Please donate now so more children will benefit from the special services that only a trained CASA volunteer advocate can provide.

Tips to help your children feel heard:

👂Active listening is a good way to improve your communication with your child. It lets your child know you are interested in what she has to say.

👂Use Reflections to Show You’re Listening. Reflection is one way for you to show you are actively listening to your child. You can do this by making an effort to help sum up how you think they are feels.

👂It can be tempting to brush off our children’s problems, especially if we have had a bad day or if we are busy. But our children need to know that we are going to listen to them.

🌎Children are one-third of our population and 100% of our future.

Our children are our future, our pride and joy. They come into this world as innocent babes, free of prejudices and preconceived notions.

All of the bad things that happen to them in their later years are due primarily to what they have been taught by adults. They tend to imitate and pattern themselves after the adults in their lives.

🤝Join us on our mission to spread awareness, and ensures that children and youth in the foster care system have both a voice and the services they need for a brighter future.
